Our Establishment

Hydrologists Registration Board

The Hydrologists Registration Board is a body Corporate established under the Hydrologists Act No.19 of 2017 and is part of the institutions that fall under the Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation. The Board was established vide Kenya Gazette Notice No. CXX1 published on 19th July, 2019, and was officially inaugurated on 5th December, 2019.

Validation Workshop on Continuous Professional Development Policy

Following the stakeholders workshop held on Friday, 24th March, 2023 to discuss the draft Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Policy, the Board wishes to invite all stakeholders to a validation workshop to discuss the final draft CPD Policy. The event will be held online on Friday, 5th May, 2023 and will be hosted on Zoom platform, starting from 10am – 12.30pm.

Stakeholders Forum for HRB’s Draft Continuous Professional Development Policy

The Board has developed a draft Continuous Professional Development Policy that aims to provide guidelines for capacity development of hydrology professionals so as to ensure delivery of effective and efficient hydrological services to the Country.

It is important that all key stakeholders be consulted and given the opportunity to make comments on the draft Policy. Consequently, the Board wishes to invite all stakeholders to a public consultation meeting that will be held online on Friday, 24th March, 2023. The event will be hosted on the Zoom platform, starting from 10am – 12.30pm.
