STAKEHOLDERS WORKSHOP ON: VALIDATION OF THE DRAFT HRB CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) POLICY, DRAFT CPD COURSE CURRICULUM AND DRAFT GUIDELINES FOR THE PREPARATION OF HYDROLOGICAL REPORTS
The Hydrologists Registration Board (HRB) is a Regulatory State Corporation formed under the Hydrologists Act No 19 of 2017. HRB has developed the draft Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Policy and the draft CPD Course Curriculum aimed at enhancing capacity development and promoting standards of hydrology professionals.
HRB has also developed the draft Guidelines for the Preparation of Hydrological Reports which contains standards for the undertaking of studies and preparation of reports by hydrology professionals, so as to promote professionalism and accountability.
HRB now wishes to invite stakeholders to an online workshop on Monday 30th June, 2025 to validate the draft CPD Policy and to receive comments on the draft Course Curriculum and the draft Guidelines. The draft CPD Policy, Course Curriculum and Guidelines are available at: www.hydrologistsboard.go.ke and at www.water.go.ke. Stakeholders are encouraged to submit their written comments to the Registrar, HRB at email address: info@hydrologistsboard.go.ke to be received by Monday, 30th June, 2025 at 5pm.
